The International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association is a non-profit educational organization, promoting the arts and disciplines of the various styles, dedicated to the unification and recognition of all Japanese influenced Martial Arts. International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association  an international fellowship of martial artists, dedicated to the principles, philosophies, promotion, training and endorsement of various Japanese influenced systems around the world. International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association is a non-political, non-discriminatory organization of practitioners, ranging in style, technique, lineage and heritage. However, we unite under the broad spectrum of martial arts in an effort to share, learn and grow in, technique and application.

We invite all practitioners of Japanese influenced systems, both traditional and modern, to unite with the International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association. We offer all of our members the following: Annual and Lifetime Kyu/Dan Membership , International Rank Recognition , Official IRKKKA ID card , Cross-training/Cross-Ranking , Listing on the IRKKKA web site , School/Club/Organization Charter , Rank certification , International Instructor Certification and title to those who qualify ,  International System and style recognition to those who qualify

 

 

 

            

 

 

 

 


Goals;

 Establish  a organization that was open to all traditional and non-traditional  Styles considering that our primary system (ryu) Saito Ha Shotokan karate,  Establish open international competition using international rules, Establish an International system of rank recognition. Promote Authentic teaching of traditional Karate-do   Establish a international board of  technical advisor from various styles of martial  arts . We  here over forty-five registered members schools  (Dojos) in the International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association worldwide in various nations  such as Africa, Germany, Dominican Republic, and Canada. Currently we have over 600 hundred registered members.

This association is operate by the President / CEO with the advice of the Board of  Directors which is comprised of ranking Master, and Grandmaster of various   systems of martial The International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association will validate and certify ranks in Japanese influenced systems. Rank Certification fees are reasonable. The certification process is as follows:  IRKKKA Dan Certification and 

Teaching titles

are based on technical ability, teaching ability, and character development. In the case of dan grades, more emphasis is placed on technical ability. Teaching Titles, which are more difficult to achieve, place more emphasis on personal development and teaching ability.

NOTE: Teaching titles allow instructors to recommend individuals to the IRKKKA for ranks two levels below their own.

The support one has given the IRKKKA, the recommendations of one's seniors in the IRKKKA, and the contributions that one has made to the martial arts, are major considerations for promotion. IRKKKA,   for promotion apply to all members of IRKKKA,. In cases of uniquely talented individuals and/or professional instructors, an altered schedule of promotion may be approved by the officials of IRKKKA,. Time in Grade Requirements for Renshi, Shihan, Kyoshi and Hanshi can be waived for qualified instructors when they initially join the IRKKKA,.

All applicants for rank/title are thoroughly examined by the IRKKKA, Directors. Rank issued by mainstream, well-known Japanese associations will frequently by recognized by the IRKKKA,. Ranking from lesser-known groups, will delay certification and may possibly require an in-person examination conducted by appropriate IRKKKA, officials.
